It’s always good to see alumni and see those guys who helped grow our program. The boys faired well placing 10th out of 64 teams running Saturday morning. Being a younger team the harriers went out a little too quickly. We need to calm down the first mile and not put ourselves into oxygen debt. Coach Graham gave nods to both Gianni Rodriguez and Keith Smith for their performances today as they both had good smart races.
The JV boys also fielded a full team today and placed 20th. Down a couple athletes they did pretty well as this was the first time they really have seen actual hills in a race.
Coach is thankful to have a full 2 weeks of training before competing at the Wachee Wachee Invitational. With training, weather, and sickness going around the Eagles will rest up and look forward to a new race!
